About the speaker

Each year, the conference has a different lead speaker. This year, our speaker is Helen Thorne-Allenson.

Helen is Director of Training and Resources at Biblical Counselling UK, formerly working with London City Mission. She has a passion for seeing women come to Christ and grow in Christ whatever their circumstances in life.

Her books include Walking with Domestic Abuse Sufferers, Hope in an Anxious World, Mental Health and your Church, and 5 Things to Pray for a Suffering Friend.

Helen lives in Hampshire with her husband, Nick, and attends Redeemer Church, Winchester.
